阿卡贝拉合唱团简介
“同声律动”是一个来自加拿大安大略省多伦多市的八声部的阿卡贝拉合唱团。该乐团兼收并蓄，他们曲目从流行乐、电子乐，到经典的灵歌，结合了动态节奏和复杂的配器。“同声律动”合唱团还通过有趣的创意镜头，诠释Modern hits（吉他专辑名）和Deep Cuts（皇后乐队专辑名），利用五花八门的影响来塑造他们独特的当代之声。
在多伦多阿卡贝拉音乐表演形式快速发展的氛围中，八位充满活力的歌手不期而遇，他们相会在一起，组成“同声律动”合唱团，只为心中这样的目标：让Party开始吧！不需要任何乐器。“同声律动”奉行折衷主义，把歌手打造成为多面手，他们的曲目从比约克（Björk，冰岛歌手）到弗兰基维里（Frankie Valli，美国白人乐队），再到杰西·康沃尔（Jessie J，英国原创女歌手），甚至还关注了中国当代的打击乐和民歌。
自2015年成立以来,“同声律动”合唱团在多伦多当地和国际上掀起波澜，他们在“仙童电视台2016年普通话形象颁奖礼”上进行表演，以一套定制的英文和普通话歌曲，获得了东西方观众的喜爱。他们在多伦多地区多次作为主角登台，运用具有跨国特色的人声，融合了复杂的阿卡贝拉和声与带有电子音乐风格的激动人心的独唱，在现场循环地创造着自己团队有趣而新颖的声音。2017年,“同声律动”开启了他们的首次中国旅行，将在海口、花都、中山和南沙进行表演。
合唱团成员介绍
尼克·寇特拉斯（Nick Kotoulas），合唱团艺术总监，第一男高声部
尼克是一位屡获殊荣的编曲、舞蹈编导和艺术总监，具有超过10年表演阿卡贝拉的经验。他指导各种合唱团体，在包括国际阿卡贝拉大学生比赛（ICCA）和各种阿卡贝拉比赛中获得最高奖项。他持续对阿卡贝拉比赛进行专业指导，帮助团队在比赛中屡创新纪。他目前正在完成多伦多大学生物化学博士学位的学习。
丹尼尔·博伊尔（Daniel Boyle）, 艺术总监，第二男高声部
丹尼尔是一个成绩斐然作曲家、编曲和艺术总监，他的作品已经在北美上演。他担任了不同阿卡贝拉团体的演唱，包括有Countermeasure，Creative Mode和TBA等合唱团。丹尼尔目前在“同声律动”和“预言歌手”（The Ruach Singers）两个团进行专业演出。在平常工作中，丹尼尔是一位语言病理学家。
艾蕾娜·斯坦加特（Elana Steingart），女中音声部
艾蕾娜是一位成绩卓越的歌手，发行了很多专辑。艾蕾娜以自己广泛的独唱风格和千变万化的声音塑造，在“同声律动”合唱团中闪耀动人。她以颇具特色的独唱和完美的音准，杀入首次在美国举办的国际阿卡贝拉大学生比赛（ICCA）的最终半决赛。她目前正在完成艺术历史和考古学专业，关于爱琴海青铜时代研究的博士学位。
凯利雅·斯科特－格兰姆斯（Cailleah Scott-Grimes），媒体总监，第二女中音声部
凯利雅是一位才华横溢的阿卡贝拉歌手，她也是一位电影导演，她的音乐和录影带在世界各地的艺术节上上演。她为“同声律动”带来了强大的低音和声，为流行乐编曲增添热情和色彩。她还担任了合唱团的媒体主总监，以自己丰富的电影制作经验，在音乐MV中捕捉和呈现合唱团的活力。
赫尔达·李（Helda Li），第一女高音声部
赫尔达是一位声乐强人，她带给“同声律动”合唱团难以置信的音域和炫技独唱。赫尔达在滑铁卢大学读书期间，在阿卡贝拉合唱形式中初试啼声，在那里她帮助多个团队获得了大学生阿卡贝拉国际比赛(ICCA)的最高奖项。如今，她成为专业阿卡贝拉歌手，在“非常尖叫”（Pretty Sharp）和“同声律动”两个合唱团的演出。不唱歌时，赫尔达是一家医疗软件公司的项目管理者。
瑞秋·拉弗朗布瓦茨(Rachel Laframboise)，第二女高音声部
瑞秋为“同声律动”带来令人惊叹的炫技流行独唱，给观众留下深刻印象。她这些年来获得了极大成功，在安大略省周围举行的声乐比赛中拔得头筹，在其所属的每个声乐团队中赢得演出席位。表演之外，瑞秋也是一名音乐教师，为比赛或考试的学生提供独唱指导。
海莉·斯科特(Hailey Scott)，第三女高音声部，市场总监
海莉在演唱方面是一位多面手，给予音乐稳定和声支持，是“同声律动”合唱团最具才华的独唱者之一。五年多以来，海莉一直在BoomVox、TBA、和“同声律动”合唱团担任演唱和替补歌手，获得在多伦多地区和当地电视媒体上表演的席位。在平常工作中，她是多伦多一家大型企业的市场营销专家，她的技能和经验为“同声律动”合唱团市场项目的规划和设计提供了有力支持。
J-M 尔兰森，商业主管，男低音／Beatbox/ 循环音乐制造艺术家（Loop）
J-M是一个非常成功的职业音乐家（擅长钢琴、鼓、长笛及人声），也是一位才华横溢的循环音乐制造艺术家。他曾与多个阿卡贝拉组合合作，过去21年来，他所在的合唱团和乐队在世界各地进行旅行演出。J-M是加拿大最年轻的歌曲作曲家，他和加拿大偶像风云乐队（Canadian icons Sphere Clown Band）赢得了金唱片奖。J-M是多伦多声乐艺术节演唱的总经理，也是一家跨国软件公司的高级咨询工程师。

A CAPPELLA Group Biography
Beatsync is an eight-piece a cappella ensemble from Toronto, Ontario combining eclectic repertoire with dynamic beats and sophisticated arrangements. From pop to electronic to classic soul, Beatsync draws upon diverse influences to craft their unique contemporary sound, interpreting modern hits and deep cuts alike through a playful creative lens.
Having first crossed paths in various fixtures of Toronto’s fast-growing a cappella scene, these eight dynamic vocalists came together as Beatsync with one goal in mind: to get the party started, no instruments necessary. Beatsync aims to be as eclectic and versatile as its members, with repertoire spanning from Björk to Frankie Valli to Jessie J and even a focus on Chinese contemporary hits and folksong.
Since their formation in 2015, Beatsync has been making waves locally and internationally, having been featured as part of Fairchild Television’s 2016 Mandarin Profile Awards, in which the group performed a tailor-made set of English- and Mandarin-language songs beloved to Eastern and Western audiences alike. They have been featured many times around the Toronto area, using their multinational vocal sounds to combine intricate a cappella harmonies and thrilling soloists with electronic elements and live looping to create a fun, fresh sound all their own. In 2017, Beatsync embarks on its first China tour with stops in Haikou, Huadu, Zhongshan and Nansha.
Group Members
Nick Kotoulas, Artistic Director, Tenor 1
Nick is an award-winning arranger, choreographer and artistic director with more than 10 years of a cappella experience. He has directed multiple groups, including earning top awards at the ICCAs (International Competition of Collegiate A Cappella) and various other a cappella competitions. He continues to coach a cappella competitors professionally, helping groups achieve top marks and advance in competition. He is currently completing his PhD in Biochemistry at the University of Toronto.
Daniel Boyle, Artistic Director, Tenor 2
Daniel is a highly accomplished composer, arranger and artistic director whose works have been featured around North America. He has sung with many different a cappella groups, including Countermeasure, Creative Mode and TBA, and currently performs professionally with Beatsync and The Ruach Singers. By day, Daniel is a Speech Language Pathologist.
Elana Steingart, Alto 1
Elana is a spectacular singer with multiple album credits to her name. Elana shines in Beatsync with her range of soloist styles and ability to be a vocal chameleon. She was a featured soloist in the semi-finals of the ICCAs, the premiere A Capella competition in the US, as featured in the comedy Pitch Perfect. She is completing a PhD in Art History and Archeology with a specialty in the Aegean Bronze Age.
Cailleah Scott-Grimes, Media Director, Alto 2
Cailleah is a talented a cappella singer and filmmaker whose music and videos have been featured at festivals across the world. She brings powerful low harmonies to Beatsync, adding warmth and colour to moving pop arrangements. She also acts as Media Director for the group, bringing her extensive filmmaking experience to the task of capturing and representing the dynamic group on video.
Helda Li, Soprano 1
Helda is a vocal powerhouse, bringing her incredible range and virtuosic solos to Beatsync. Helda got her first taste of a cappella while at the University of Waterloo, where she helped multiple groups earn top placement at the ICCAs (International Competition of Collegiate A Cappella). She has now moved to professional a cappella, singing with Pretty Sharp and Beatsync. While not singing, Helda manages projects for a medical software company.
Rachel Laframboise, Soprano 2
Rachel brings amazing virtuosic pop solos to Beatsync, blowing audiences away. She’s been wowing people for years, earning top spots at singing competitions around Ontario and earning feature spots in every vocal group of which she’s been a part. Beyond performance, Rachel is also a music instructor, coaching solo singers, particularly for competition or examination.
Hailey Scott, Soprano 3, Marketing Director
Hailey is a vocal jack-of-all-trades, providing rock solid harmony and support, while being one of Beatsync’s most talented soloists. Hailey has been singing professionally as part of groups (BoomVox, TBA, Beatsync) and as a solo/backup singer for more than 5 years, earning performance spots around the Toronto area and features on regional television. By day, she is a marketing specialist with a major firm in Toronto, and brings her skills and experience to Beatsync, supporting the planning and design of marketing inintiatives.
J-M Erlendson, Business Manager, Bass/Beatbox/Loop Artist
J-M is a highly accomplished professional musician (piano, drums, flute, vocals) as well as a talented loop artist. J-M has worked with multiple a cappella groups and toured around the world with groups and bands for the past 21 years. He was the youngest professional songwriter in Canada, and earned a Gold Record with Canadian icons Sphere Clown Band. He is the General Manager of SING! The Toronto Vocal Arts Festival and is a Senior Consulting Engineer for a multinational software company
