Octagonal singer
八角塔男聲合唱團源自於淡江中學之校友四重唱，該校的男聲合唱歷史自1925年至今，八角塔則為該校著名之美麗建築。2005年3月，幾位基督徒校友成立了「淡江中學校友四重唱」， 2011年4月擴大改組為「八角塔男聲合唱團」，現今活躍於教會界與合唱界，曾獲「世界盃阿卡貝拉大賽社會組銀牌獎」，更在2016年、2017年登上國家演奏廳的舞台，演唱實力深獲肯定。為了追求藝術的精進與巡迴演出的機動性，本團亦成立8人之「八角塔歌手」，除了追求更為精緻的室內人聲合唱，也積極走訪各地，傳遞合唱的愛與和平。
The octagonal men's choir comes from the school's alumni quartet, which has a history of male vocal chords from 1925 to the present, and the octagonal tower is a famous beautiful building in the school. In March 2005, a few christians founded the "quartet" tamkang middle school alumni alumni, reorganized in April 2011 to expand as the "eight pyramidal chorus", currently active in the church and chorus, who won the World Cup "contest of aqua Bella social group silver award, in 2016, mount the stage of the national concert hall in 2017, singing strength for sure. In pursuit of the art of diligence and the mobility of a tour, this group also set up the "eight pyramidal singer" of eight people, in addition to the pursuit of a more delicate interior voices, also visit, positive transfer chorus of love and peace.

八角塔歌手指揮，林坤輝
林坤輝，台北市人，淡江大學數學系純數組研究所碩士，輔仁大學音樂系碩士班，主修合唱指揮，師事蘇慶俊老師，並曾經與國際大師 Dr. Joseph Flummerfelt 、William Dehning、Stephen Leek、Gary Garden 等世界級指揮大師學習合唱指揮。曾任「輔仁大學合唱團」指揮、、「2011~2013福爾摩沙青年合唱團指揮」。目前為「淡江大學合唱團 」與「八角塔男聲合唱團 」指揮。
Lin Kunhui, Taipei people, is the master of mathematics institute of pure array in tamkang university and in music department of the fu jen Catholic university, majoring in choral conductor, learning with Su Qingjun teacher. He also worked with international masters, such as Dr. Joseph Flummerfelt, William Dehning, Stephen Leek, Gary Garden and other world-class command master learning chorus conductor. He was the conductor of "the choir of the subsidiary university" and "the direction of the Formosa youth choir 2011~ 2013". At present, he is the "choir of tamkang university" and "the eight angles tower male chorus" command.
團長簡介
八角塔歌手，團長鄭睦群
鄭睦群，新北市淡水人，淡江大學歷史研究所碩士，中國文化大學史學研究所博士。現職為淡江大學歷史學系兼任助理教授、八角塔男聲合唱團創團暨現任團長，其製作之合唱專輯《馬偕的生命詩歌行旅》亦獲第27屆傳統藝術金曲獎之最佳宗教專輯獎。曾任台灣基督教史學會秘書長。目前亦為《宇宙光》雜誌「詩歌的歷史光廊」之專欄作家。
The chief of choir
Zheng Muqun, born in Danshui, Xinbei city, is the master of history research institute of tamkang university and the doctor of history institute of China culture university . At present, he is an assistant professor at tamkang university history department and the chief of octagonal men's chorus. His production of duet album "mackay life poetry travelled" also won the 27th traditional art award for the best album of religion. He used to be the secretary-general of Taiwan Christian history society. He is also a columnist for cosmo's historical light gallery.
